ELLA is in Iowa for her foster daughter’s funeral. She’ll be connecting with family while she’s up there this week.

I WAS awake at seven this morning for no apparent reason. I tried on vain to return to the Land of Nod but sleep alluded me. Defeated I rose, dressed, and prepared my breakfast. Ella sent me a text: “I’m up getting ready to shower. I miss my other half. Love you. Kisses and hugs. ” I responded, “There’s an empty spot close to me, where you normally are.”
AT nine I took some quartered pastries to share with the morning coffee group. I spent close to an hour there and came away no smarter than before.
I WENT home and slept for a couple of hours. As you can see from the graph above, I didn’t sleep long or well over night.
I MADE two gallons of tea. They are for Sunday morning for the time between Sonrise service and Sunday school.
I TOOK a drive in the rain to fill the car with gasoline. From there I drove to Cross Tracks Church and put the teas in the refrigerator.
I STOPPED on the way home for a spicy chicken sandwich from Whataburger .
AT seven I watched the Good Friday service at Cross Tracks Church.
