I was going through an old sketch book and found this. There’s no date on it but it would have been late 2012 or early 2013.

🟢 COFFEE: When we arrived at Hills at Leander this morning we were surprised to see our health insurance man giving a presentation to the coffee group. The group was also surprised. Craig had gotten permission from the office staff and a single 8½×11” poster had been placed on a table in the common area. That was the only advertisement for the event.

🟢 OVER THE HILL GANG: They are doing roadwork in from of our building. There is a trench between the road and our parking lot. They have left us a dirt drive by which to enter.

There were 64 folks there for a Lunch of Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, French bread, mac & cheese, green bean casserole, fried okra, baked beans, garden salad, various desserts and tea/coffee. As usual, we played games afterwards. Ella played bingo while I played Five Crowns.
