🟢 COFFEE at the Hills: Coffee here is more than a gathering over a warm cup; it is a lively meeting place shaped by the people who come and go. As usual, the group is constantly changing: familiar faces return, new people arrive, and others move on to different routines or places. Each change brings a fresh mix of stories, opinions, humor, and experience, keeping every conversation a little different from the last. Someone may stop by for a quick coffee and find themselves staying to listen, laugh, or share what has been happening. A newcomer might feel like a stranger at first, only to discover that a friendly greeting and an open seat make joining easy. Meanwhile, those who leave remain part of the group’s story, remembered in shared jokes and past conversations. This shifting rhythm gives the group its character. It is not a fixed circle with a permanent roster, but a welcoming community that grows and changes naturally over time. The coffee may be familiar, and the setting may feel comfortably known, yet the people around the table bring new energy each day. It keeps the group open, lively, and connected to the wider community. Whether someone has been coming for years or has only just walked in, there is room to take part, contribute, and enjoy the moment. Every gathering reflects both continuity and change: a shared pause in the day, made meaningful by whoever happens to be there. That is why, even though we moved from this apartment complex, we come back often to spend time with friends.

🟢 OVER THE HILL GANG: It was 🤠 hat day, though only a few wore hats. I believe the final count was 57 people who came for food, fun, and fellowship. There was an assortment of pizzas to choose from. I had sausage and Ella had cheese. There were plenty of vegetable dishes, salads, and desserts from which to choose. My friend Nathern usually plays Five Crowns with me after lunch. However, today he had an appointment and was unable to play. Ella played bingo as usual.
