2020 August 22 Shabbat

Welcome, family and friends, to Our Daily Journal, a remembrance for us and a point of connection for you.

  • We are not Jewish but today should count as Sabbath for us. We hardly set foot outside today. I say “hardly” because after breakfast (see below) we sat outside in the shade and read some more of Adam Hamilton’s book, “Making Sense of the Bible”. We then took time to discuss what we’d read.

  • The weather was a little rocky early this morning. It has been awhile since we have had rain and even longer since we’ve had a real rip roaring thunder boomy storm.

  • This is a graph of my night’s sleep. Or rather the lack thereof. Which it’s one reason that I didn’t do much today. By “not much” I mean I worked on gathering information for a budget.

This was my breakfast.

Thanks again for stopping by. Share this with your friends. See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. Remember, we love you.

  • God bless and g’day.
