2020 August 28 Pancakes

Welcome, family and friends, to Our Daily Journal, a remembrance for us and a point of connection for you.

What a pale sky. That hot sun has burnt all the color from the sky. It’s so hot that I’m surprised it doesn’t leave scorch marks as it moves.

* WHAT…For the first Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 111. For the second Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 108

  • Oh goody. It’s going to feel cooler tomorrow. Instead of 111° it is going to feel a refreshingly cool 108°!

I mixed up some buttermilk pancakes with real blueberries.Once the griddle plate in the George Foreman grill was good and hot,I poured all of the batter into the griddle. Why bother making individual 4″ pancakes, when I can get it all done at once?Cooking with the lid closed cooks it faster an leaves a decorative pattern.Once flipped, look how nice it looks. Now is the time to cut cut it into two.Blueberry pancakes with strawberries on top, now that’s a breakfast treat!Another long day spent better organizing the tracking of our finances. I have to say, it is depressing at the least. Why did the call it a FIXED income when it looks BROKE to me?Trying to find less expensive cell phone service — without giving up all the features we have with Verizon.

  1. Unlimited talk

  2. Unlimited text

  3. Real honesty-to-God unlimited data — that doesn’t slow down after a certain amount of data — or certain times of day.

  4. Use phone for Hotspot

  5. HUMx diagnostic device which can check our car’s health from our phones. It will detect issues and email us. Since the HUMx includes a speaker device — which enables Bluetooth hands-free calling, Crash Response, and NumberShare. Plus, a mobile 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. We can connect to a mechanic for advice. There it’s also roadside assistance. There it’s also roadside assistance.

I don’t want this to should like an ad for Verizon – remember, I’m trying to find something less expensive – but I’m striking out.Anybody have a service like that which is cheaper???? Really, seriously. Help.Still 97° that feels like 100° at sundown. I pray for those who have no air conditioning.
Thanks again for stopping by. Share this with your friends. See y’all again tomorrow. Stay safe. Remember, we love you.
