Throwback Thursday
at Cutty’s Des Moines campground
Welcome, family and friends to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of connection for you.
Once again it rained all night and all of the day. I’m told that the rain is desperately needed

Almost 27 years ago this young couple said “I do!” If you notice, the cake topper is Mr. and Mrs. Claus kissing. It was the day after Christmas, which is when we could get most of the family together.

Even then, we were old enough that we sat for the receiving line and opening wedding gifts. Many things in our lives have changed; houses, homes, cars, trucks, and trailers. We no longer have kids (biological or exchange) at home with us. Incomes and jobs have come and gone. However the “I do!” still stands firm.

This it’s my niece Kathy, who has gone to be with the Lord. Being that she was only three years younger than I, she was more like a sister. I miss her.
We went to Linnea and Rob’s to spend the night. She is taking us to Ella’s dentist appointment on the morning and then to get certified copies of our birth certificates. We need those so we can get our Texas drivers licenses.
- God bless and g‘day.
