2020 October 20

Welcome, family and friends, to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of contact for you.

Exodus 19:16 And now, the third day arrived and the morning dawned. And behold, thunders began to be heard, and also lightning flashed, and a very dense cloud covered the mountain, and the noise of the trumpet resounded vehemently. And the people who were in the camp were fearful. No, really, today there was no lightening and thunder nor trumpet sounding. Just a dark cloud over the town of Liberty Hill. We had a couple of 3 minute rain showers between 9:27 & 9:43 this morning. Done. It was not the coming of the Lord — not this time.

66 Days until Christmas. 31 days until Santa arrives at Lakeline Mall. Wear your masks and come get a photo taken. It’s going you be an interesting season.

Today I voted. Ella also voted. However, it was provisional. Her voter registration is not yet in the system. She voted but her ballot was sealed in seen envelope along with a card with her name and information. On election day, the envelope will be opened and they will check to see if she is in the system. If she is, the ballot will be counted. If she isn’t, it will not be counted.

We also went to the Blood Bank to make a donation. No. Not blood. We donated all of the pull-tabs from aluminum cans, that the Grandies have been collecting.

Dollar General was right next door, so we purchased some candy for the Trunk or Treat at Cross Tracks Church October 25th 5 to 7pm.

God bless and g‘day.
