Tuesday
Welcome, family and friends, to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of contact for you.
I woke this morning with my right arm outside of the covers and as cold as death. I brought it under the covers but kept it away from my body as though it belonged to a stranger. Within a half an hour I was able to, once again, welcome the banished limb. However, by then it was time to rise and shine. Thus submitting all of me to the fifty degrees of ambient air.
Unlike yesterday, I recalled that we are no longer using daylight savings. So I was able to capture the sun during its first attempt to burn through the blanket of clouds.
Before long, Sol was burning brightly.
🎶Sunny day
Chasing the clouds away
Find my way
To where the air is sweet
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to sesame street
How to get to sesame street
Come and play
Everything’s a-ok
Friendly neighbors there
For all to meet
Can you tell me how to get
How to get to sesame street
How to get to sesame street
(Get lost)🎶

- The covid test was done in the CVS drive-thru. It was self administered, which means, I stuck that extra long Q tip up my own nose. One and a half inches up my nose and then swirl it around two full times. Not pleasant, but okay. The hard part was just leaving it hanging there an eternity — okay, it was 15 seconds — but it seemed much longer. And THEN, up the other nostril and repeat.
With all of the groceries purchased last week, we still ran out of milk and bread.
I have been having back pain for the last 6-8 weeks. I kept thinking out would go away. It hasn’t. So, Thomas’s Appointment Has Been Scheduled, Nov 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Hailey Watson, APRN, FNP-C
