One if the treasures rediscovered during the move. This is a pair of Ella’s glasses. I doubt Coke bottles used glass this thick. This was before plastic lenses and “feather weight” glasses. And long before the surgery which allows her to go without glasses.
My bride had to make a trip through the Easter candy aisle. She is addicted to Peeps. Those chicken shaped marshmallows coated in yellow sugar crystals heave a hold on her.
Meanwhile I purchased some antifreeze. Rudolf the Red Nose pickup has a leak. I haven’t found it. I hope it’s a hose and not the radiator. And then it was time to pick up my medication.
My 2nd prescription was approved by the insurance company today. But the one I picked up yesterday was not. The two prescriptions always go together. They are for the same medicine but different dosages. Which makes me curious(er) as to why it was declined yesterday – but paid today.
We stopped at Goodwill on the way home from Wal-Mart. Ella wanted to look for a bookcase. And she found one big enough (I think) to hold the remainder of our books. She done good! What’s that? Oh, you want to know what she paid? $20. She did real well! Once I lugged it over the patio railing and slid it into place, I dusted the top half and Ella the lower half. We have a lot of books to shelve. Ella has a system that I don’t understand. So I just try to stay out of the way.
