🇺🇸 PLANS: While many people may have elaborate plans to celebrate Independence Day, my bride and I have chosen not to partake in any specific activities. However, with the milestone of America’s 250th birthday approaching, I can’t help but feel a sense of obligation to do something special. Yet, as I reflect on the essence of this holiday, I realize that celebrating our freedom by deviating from societal norms and customs is special enough. Our country was founded on the principles of independence and individualism, and what better way to honor that than by embracing our own unique way of commemorating this significant day. So while we may not have any formal plans, our decision to not follow the traditional celebrations is our own way of expressing gratitude for the freedom we have as Americans. As we mark this momentous occasion, let us remember that true freedom lies in the ability to make our own choices and live our lives according to our own beliefs. Happy 250th birthday, America – may we continue to honor and cherish the freedom that makes us who we are..
