11:00 pm Ella colonoscopy and endoscopy ✓✓

🟠 DOCTORS: We arrived at 9:57 AM for Ella’s ten o’clock arrival time. She was logged in, given a wrist band, and handed a clipboard thick with papers to read and sign on the yellow highlighted lines. The papers all amount to … if something goes wrong, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE … and you still have to pay whether the insurance approved it or not. Getting ready for the surgery.

The endoscopy was a success. The colonoscopy wasn’t. Ella had scar tissue that the surgeon was unable to get past with the scope. She will have to do it again in the near future. It will be done in a hospital where the doctor can take more than thirty minutes per patient which is allowed for at the surgery center.

🟠 LUNCHSUPPERBREAKFASTLUNCH: Since Ella have eaten since right o’clock Thursday morning, she had a few missed meals to make up for. We arrived at IHOP at one o’clock. To no one’s surprise, she had French toast. I had sirloin tips with mushrooms, steamed broccoli, and redskin mashed potatoes.
