.Ella asked me to take her teeth to the dentist this morning. She also asked me to bring them home after work. But the dentist said that he needs her mouth to be present for the fitting. So tomorrow, before going to work, I’ll take Ella to her teeth..Sometimes, when the photo with Santa is set for landscape mode, Santa it’s decapitated or chopped in half (in the photo not in the flesh). I don’t know if it is a system error, operator error, or ineffective training. But aren’t those girls cute?On a somewhat related note. Someone posted a photo, on Facebook, of a mall Santa asleep in his chair. I’ve never done that but I’ll admit that, with traffic so slow this year, it can be pretty boring. When things are slow, I’ll walk out into the mall a little ways and wave at people and do some echoing Ho Ho Hos. Basically, I remind people that Santa is in the house.2020 is such a strange Santa season. No sitting on Santa’s knee. No hugs, fist bumps, or high 5s. And for me and most of my brother’s in red, those times with the children are the real reason we chose to be inhabited by the spirit of Saint Nicholas. And in fairness to the unknown Santa performer, some if these guys are there from mall open to close, which may be 12-14 hours 7 days a week.
This was Iowa December 10, 2009 and was our 2nd year living full-time in our RV. That is a six foot drift against our door. We had to have people shovel a path to the door and them shovel the door way open so we could get out.
Any question as to why we now live in Texas? I didn’t think so.
