Welcome, family and friends, to our daily journal. Share it with your friends. It is a way of remembrance for us and a point of contact for you.
It seems odd to this Iowa-born person to awake to 62° in the middle of December. I still expect freezing temps and knee deep snow. Instead it’s 62° and raining.
We arrived at the dentists’ office slightly before they opened.
And waited for the lights to go on and the door to be unlocked. The rain on the windshield adds a special sparkle to the lights, doesn’t it? It took less than 10 minutes to have Ella’s dentures adjusted. We had time to drive through Sonics, pick up breakfast, and head back home. And there was still a abundance of time to relax before going to work.
Speaking of sparkle, we have one of these rotating laser gizmos pointed at our Christmas tree. It adds some motion to the scene.
A second machine is outside and pointed into a tree. The tree is still full of leaves, which make a prefect canvas for the light show.
